WRONG slavery is amongst us still to this day, president Obama has even declared January the month of awareness towards the world slavery trade. Slavery isn't shy of age, gender or race because there are grown men & women that are slaves...kids too! When will this end, will it ever come to a complete end? The slave trade profits 15.5 BILLION dollars and its not just in the eastern Europe area it also takes place in the united states & 70 percent of slaves are usually women and 50% kids. Chattel slavery is another name which means that slavery is a system where that people are property and have no human rights. If it was me, i would probably kill my self instead of being a slave. life for the slaves is horrible...do you love chocolate, well even if you don't the chocolate that we eat starts off in a plantation which are picked by little kids against their own will.
3 facts about slavery is that its not legal but still happens everywhere, $90 is the average cost of a human life & human trafficking is the modern slave trade. the most important fact to me was that its only 90 dollars to buy a humans life, how would you feel if you was only worth 90...like crap so how do you think those people feel. the slave need to just be free everywhere because we all have human rights !
